Let's adopt the Bitcoin mining model by creating scarcity. We can reduce the amount of HXD mined in game each month. This will encourage people to hold longterm and also it will improve the longevity of the game. Will take longer to run out of HXD being issue to players.

This concept works great for Bitcoin, but every single Web 3 game that has tried it has failed to have the desired effect. We need WAY more players, and thus way more demand, before something like this could possibly work.

Halving makes you lose players, not gain them.
